The Sims 2 - screen is flashing or blinking while playing

After "downloaded objects are blue and blinking", I've found the answer for those how got this problem :

When playing the game, the screen is flashing or blinking regularly : walls, objetcs, roofs, ... seem to disappear 1 or 2 seconds and then appear again. The more often when you move the mouse slowly.

The following works with ATI graphic cards : it's tested because I got the same problem and tried a lot to fix it !

First of all, install latest release Catalyst 9.5 drivers

Then configure 3d settings in Catalyst control panel this way (red settings are the most important) :



Then launch The Sims 2 or any addon used to launch the game and
using the dialog box with CTRL + SHIFT + C, type Vsync off

It's done !!! No more flashing or blinking !!!
