The Sims 2 - downloaded objects are blue and blinking
When you have downloaded additional content to your C:\Document and Settings\User Profile\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads folder and when you start to play with a new add-on, the "unofficial" objetcs can appear blue and blinking within the game.
To solve this, the best way is to store additional content you download in a special folder. When you install a new add-on, you launch the game once and then quit. Thereafter you copy the full content of your special folder into C:\Document and Settings\User Profile\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads folder. Finally, you launch the game again and when you choose to activate custom content from Downloads folder, your objects are not blue or blinking any more .... See you soon.
