Unable to type password at Windows XP welcome screen
When using Windows XP welcome screen instead of classic CTRL + ATL + DEL winlogon, some users report they can't type password when they switch to another account.
Keyboard seems to be inactive, there's no cursor in textbox.

You should try to install User Profile Hive Cleanup Service which helps to ensure user sessions are completely terminated when a user logs off.

RE: Unable to type password at Windows XP welcome screen
